A 20-year-old Amherst man was sentenced Wednesday to 30 months of probation after being arrested for trying to steal [ … ] from an Amherst home in September.
Dillon Makuski was convicted of possession of burglary tools after he was detained by a homeowner after entering a home. A Portage County Sheriff’s deputy found six [ … ].in his pockets.
Makuski must also undergo a psycho-sexual examination and serve 200 hours of community service.
According to the criminal complaint, Makuski entered the house because he likes to [ … ] and thought there might be some in the house. When he didn’t find any garbage bins outside, he said he opened the unlocked garage. He didn’t find any trash bins there, so he walked down the stairs into the home’s basement and began searching there, he said. When asked whether his intention was to steal [ … ] Makuski said "yes," the complaint states.

Il ventenne Dillon Makuski sorpreso con attrezzi da scasso all’interno di una casa è stato arrestato e in seguito condannato a 30 mesi di libertà vigilata. Makuski deve anche sottoporsi ad un esame psico-sessuale e 200 ore di servizio comunitario.

Il giovane ha dichiarato che è entrato nella casa perché fuori in giardino non ha trovato nessun bidone d’immondizia. Ha forzato la saracinesca per entrare nel garage, anche qui non ha trovato nessun cassonetto, così si è diretto giù per le scale nel seminterrato della casa dove è stato sorpreso mentre stava cercando i bidoni d’immondizia.
La denuncia sottolinea che quando il vice sceriffo ha frugato nelle sue tasche e ha trovato sei [ … ] alla domanda:
"La tua intenzione era quella di rubare [ … ]? Makuski ha detto "sì".
