Even the artists of Cyprus protest against the crisis. Andreas Efstathiou, 49, chose a symbolic place for its installation: the central bank of Nicosia, in front of which has placed 20 toilets of chalk. “These toilets are the suffering experienced by the people of Cyprus after the bailout of the European Union. Carvings views from the front seem toilet, from behind tombstones.” The message is clear. (Photo 1/6 here) (video here)

Anche gli artisti di Cipro protestano contro la crisi. Andreas Efstathiou, 49 anni, ha scelto un luogo simbolo per la sua installazione: la banca centrale di Nicosia, di fronte alla quale ha piazzato 20 gabinetti di gesso. “Questi servizi igienici rappresentano la sofferenza vissuta dalla popolazione di Cipro dopo il piano di salvataggio dell’Unione europea.
