Jacob T. Swinney montatore e regista statunitense esprime la sua passione con montaggi mozzafiato dei suoi film preferiti, ha prodotto un nuovo video con i film più iconici che hanno segnato la storia di 100 anni di cinema (dal 1915 con Nascita di una nazione al 2015 con Mad Max: Fury Road). Ha selezionato film vincitori di premi, classici e progressivi che continuano a risuonare nel corso degli anni. Lo descrive così:
«E’ un viaggio attraverso gli ultimi 100 anni di cinema, a mio parere con i film più memorabili di ogni anno. Mentre molte di queste inquadrature sono tra le più riconoscibili della storia del cinema, le altre sono altrettanto iconiche, hanno uno stile o un genere definito, comprendono film soggetti a censure o ad animati dibattiti da parte della critica, sicuramente soddisfano le attese dei frequentatori delle sale cinematografiche. Se non altro, voglio che questo video sia un promemoria sul perché tutti noi amiamo così il cinema.
